About Us

The name EXpressure Arts says exactly what we believe.

EXpressure is both an invitation and a practice: the freedom to express your art fully and to ex—or release—the pressure that often comes with performance. We believe creativity flourishes when perfectionism, fear, and expectation are replaced with curiosity, embodiment, and care. Through partner dance, acting, and public speaking, we help students develop presence in their bodies, clarity in their voices, and confidence in how they show up in the world.

Léo Perry Panitan and Gerald Germajesty Price founded EXpressure Arts in Spring 2025 to make embodiment-based coaching accessible to adult artists across the Pacific Northwest. Their shared vision was to create a space where artistic growth is grounded in consent, inclusivity, and joy—rather than fear, comparison, or performance anxiety.

We intentionally create space for Queer, Trans, and neurospicy folks who are beginning their expressive journey, while warmly welcoming all allies who value inclusive, affirming learning environments.

Dance lessons at EXpressure Arts support embodied confidence, connection, and creative expression through styles such as West Coast Swing, NightClub 2-Step, First Dances, Latin Dances, and Ballroom. Students build coordination, musicality, and presence as they learn to move with clarity and intention — alone or with a partner.

Acting sessions prepare students to audition with confidence and create compelling, fully realized characters for theater and film. Through character work, text analysis, and movement-based exploration, students strengthen emotional range, storytelling, and authenticity.

Public Speaking coaching helps students develop stronger language, grounded confidence, and the presence to truly captivate an audience. Through structure, voice work, and embodied delivery, students learn how to communicate clearly and captivate an audience—onstage, in meetings, or in everyday life.

We’re here to support your creative journey—at your pace, in your body, and in your voice.
