Léo Perry Panitan (He/They)
Co-Founder
Director of Partner Dance
Léo Perry Panitan is a dance educator and choreographer with over six years of experience in partner dance. They teach with a focus on role-fluid instruction, technical clarity, and confidence-building practices that help beginners become adaptable partner dancers across styles.
Léo began teaching professionally in 2019 and has taught locally with community-based spaces and events including Queerchata, Emerald City Hoedown, OutDancing, and Weekly Thursday Fusion. They currently teach Bachata Level 2 at Reverie Ballroom and are participating in Seattle Dances 2026. Their teaching prioritizes transferable skills—such as communication, timing, and partner awareness—that support growth across multiple dance forms.
As Co-Founder of EXpressure Arts and founder of Trans Queer Partners in Dance (TQPiD), Léo is committed to cultivating spaces where people feel supported, challenged, and empowered to grow through movement, expressive movement, and community. They are especially passionate about helping dancers build trust in themselves as learners, not just performers. This philosophy shapes how they design classes, collaborations, and creative projects across EXpressure Arts.
